So far we have been to 12 islands in Indonesia (out of 18,000+)😂 It’s fair to say we haven’t even scratched the surface but what we have seen so far has been incredible!!!

✨After falling in love with this country we are looking forward to one more month here to explore even more!

One of the most picturesque sunrises we’ve seen so far in Indonesia. The clouds were perfectly floating below Mount Bromo while the sun rose up!

If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in Indonesia, this is the perfect place!

Lake Toba is the worlds largest crater lake, one of the worlds deepest lakes(505m!) && it’s the site of a super volcano eruption!🌋Mount Toba is still active today and the lake is best viewed from high up so you can see how huge it is!

*We stayed on Samosir Island in the middle of the lake, where you can swim, canoe, see waterfalls, jet ski & hike!

One of our BEST experiences yet!🦧😍

We had the best time hiking through the jungle looking for wild orangutans, camping under the stars and rafting down the river back to camp!✨

We were SO lucky and seen 11 different orangutans over the three days, including a few little babies! (Who absolutely loved to show off their new skills!)🦧

We’ve been on so many tours to see wild orangutans and never had any luck so we were so happy we finally got to see them swinging around in the jungle!

If you’re going to Sumatra this is a MUST do experience!🏕️
